So I started a new 29 gallon macroalgae tank. However, I only have two of those $100 reef LEDs that you get from Amazon. Will these lights be able to grow macroalgae, or would I have to invest in a 6500k light or grow light?

If you're not doing corals, I'd go for the 6500k light. Less chance of the algae going sexual.

Well the tank is sorta overstocked to keep high nutrients and I am dosing Seachem Flourish. Will it make a difference or would it still go sexual? These lights are strong too. At 40", PAR is at 300. If I turn the white only and while minimizing blue a little, will that help?
