Whenever you get a chance, I'd love to see a photo of the whole tank. It looks like you have some really nice colonies in there.

FTS May, 2025
A dirty FTS taken recently with my phone, apologies for the quality. Added back my t5/mh fixture with some radiums, so much happier with the spectrum now. I'm also pondering a total re-scape.

Blue Green Chromis Super Male?
My Chromis are spawning none stop and the male has gone through a cool colour change.

Ordered some new corals which is exciting, for the last 10+ years I've wanted a RR Orange Passion and my dream will finally come true. 😁

Thinking of removing the big Anacropora colony and doing a mini re-scape, it's taking over and one of branches that broke off is already a largish colony. I really don't understand why it's sold for more than $10, it's a weed.

Found an Ice Fire Echinata for sale and couldn't resist. I had it once before, it's such a beautiful yet fickle coral so let's see how it goes.

Greetings from Canada, my name is Shaun and I’m a reefer from South Africa - I’ve just moved to Canada and what better way to settle into a new life than with a new tank. Am I right? Haha.

My previous two tanks have both been shallow reefs (700x700x300mm and 1400x700x300mm) - I have been obsessed with aquascaping shallow tanks ever since I started research for my first build. As I don’t know any custom builders here in Canada, I have decided to go the route of a Waterbox Frag 145.5 tank, it’s slightly deeper than my previous builds but at 410mm it’s still what I would consider shallow for such a long tank.

I’m really excited to to start this build and get a little slice of the ocean back into my home.

Its my next project as well. I have found the corals I like but problems finding fish that will school and not kill one another. Love to hear what you have found

Same here in regards to glueing underwater. I want to elevate my rockwork closer to surface in at least one spot, and the epoxy putty just ends up falling apart. I have bulldozer urchins so of course that doesn't help either lol. Might have to pull the corals off and make a bit of a mess for a few days it seems.
Tunze does not.

I've always been lucky with Blue Green Chromis in both this and previous builds, I have 10? in this tank and they're total jerks but they never killed each other. It does seem to be hit and miss though as many people seem to have issues with them. They spawn constantly now too which is making them extra friendly to everyone else, haha. Anthias are another good option but can be more pricey depending on the variety. I've always wanted a school of Threadfin Cardinalfish but that is likely just because I'm such a massive fan of Leonardo's Apogon Reef.

TBH, I'm considering switching up my fish selection because I'd like to get more wrasses but between my Purple Tang and the Chromis adding new fish can be a challenge.
