After checking the feedbacks from you guys about Maggie's Aquarium, I decided to purchase a few mushrooms and some decent price zoo polyps. Did not get the package on the promised date due to miscommunication and when it arrived, the box was leaking. They were so poorly packed that only the mushrooms survived. The zoo polys were in poor shape, some fell off the frags and had to be glued back on. Waited a few days to see if they would open up but none did, they all died!!! I will not buy from this place again.

Hey greyfox you need to contact Randy about this. I am sure he will make it right. He is on vacation right now I think.

Hi Azurel and Revhtree,
First of all, hello and thank you for your concerns. I did send Randy an email a few days ago but did not get any response. I'm not sure if things can be righted since I took a few days hoping for them to open up instead of letting Randy know that the polyps were in poor shape right away; I read somewhere on this forum that sometimes the polys take a few days to recover.

Sorry, no updates. I didn't get any email reply and I'm too busy upgrading my 180 g tank to call. Let's just say I got some expensive red and blue mushrooms out of this buy. By the way, I recently purchased some acans, dendro, and blassto from The Captive Reef and was very pleased with the packing and quality of the livestocks.

No sweat, the purchase from Captive Reef made up for it already :D . Will try our good sponsors like Zoanuts once the big tank is ready.

FWIW....i've always been in disagreement in how maggie's named their palys. even before the existence of CZ there were debates on the RC zoa forum.

now that i've been in the hobby long enough, i've seen all the clever marketing gimmecks and know better than biting on some of this stuff trying to make fame from another similar, yet not the same thing zoa/paly.

i've seen them name things on ebay that were clearly not......but with that said. businesses can call any coral what they want.....they dont have to follow the zoaID and CZ way of calling corals.

so, its buyer beware, and a picture says a thousand words......
