How many of you guys own magnifica anemones? Does yours have bubble tips ? I know these anemones have the ability to do so but I was wondering what causes this? I bought this anemone bleached several weeks ago and it’s coming back stronger than ever.

"The Ritteri Anemone is also referred to as the Magnificent Anemone or Heteractis Magnificent Sea Anemone. Some aquarists still refer to it as Radianthus ritteri, but this name was recently changed to the current H. magnifica. It can grow to over three feet in diameter in the wild, although it generally does not grow larger than 1½ feet in the aquarium. Its tentacles have a long, non-tapering shape that may, on occasion, appear swollen at the tips. They can almost completely retract into the base."

Nobody knows why a nem. bubbles or not.

Looks happy... :)

Thanks , I bought it extremely bleached, it has an unusual coloration , it has a lime green center , the color is coming back SLOWLY, nothing fancy just regular raw shrimp from wallyworld lol.

Thank you , the first one I had was sick and I had to get rid of it , I took a chance with this one because at the lfs under their heavy actinic lights I could see the green in the center and I haven’t seen one like this before , it has literally doubled in size the past few weeks, but I think my lighting has a big part of it
