Please post pictures and current tank parameters to help us determine what’s going on? How long has the tank been established?
Parameters are within range I already checked calcium magnesium and kh they are 10, 450 and 1,260 and salinity is stable so is temp and nitrates and phosphate as for light the bottom of the tank 146 PAR and that’s where the nem is at however the top has higher par yet it doesn’t go there

Looks like a fairly new tank, how long has it been running? Also what are your nitrate and phosphate levels?

Nitrates and phosphates are pretty low for a nem. They do like dirtier water around 5-10ppm nitrate and .1 phosphate. You could try burying its foot at the bottom of the rock structure. Keep power heads off for 30 min to see if it’ll attach.

All good advise.

I also like to keep the nems in small baskets until they attach,

you can put some rubble in the bottom of the basket to see if they will attach to that. Sometimes the nems foot can be injured when they are harvested and It can help to reduce the flow a little until they can get a foothold. The basket can also help to keep the other tank residents from harassing the nem while it settles in.

It's changing shape because it's changing water volume. That's a constant and normal process. If the clown is pushing it around that may inhibit its ability to attach. As others have said, give it a helping hand, place it gently between a couple of smaller rocks in a lower flow area or use a basket with rocks / rubble in it.

Is the clown feeding it ?

Have you tried feeding it ?

What test kits are you using?
Have you ever had an anemone before?
How did it look when you bought it?
How is everything else doing in your tank?

did you measure the par or are you taking it from the manufacturer? The sand looks too clean IMO for a year and a half. Even between the sand and glass it looks abnormally clean.
