Hey all!
I’ve been noticing that my main return pump vibrates throughout the whole tank quite a lot. Like I can feel it if I put my hand on the acrylic. It is hard plumbed and is on rubber feet but I can’t seem to figure out how to make it stop. All of my pumps have been hard plumbed and I’ve never had this issue before. It’s a sicce Syncra ADV 9.0. Any advice other than putting flex tubing? I’ve had bad experiences with leaking from that before and really want to avoid it

You could try a silicon mat under your pump but I think you will need silicon tubing instead of pvc pipe to the pump intake

First thing that comes to mind when dealing with pump vibration is going with a short section of flexible tubing between the pump and pvc, and using a silicone mat ( I've used silicone hot pads from amazo.n 1-2) under the pump. Make sure it's not touching and thing hard like a sump wall.
Using good quality tubing ( if external used stainless hose clamps).

What’s weird to me is I have always had external hard plumb pumps on this tank and never had this issue before. This is my first time using a sicce on this tank but before that I had like 3 different brands I rotated through

I have not used a larger sicce pump like this one. Always the smaller 3's. But I have heard the larger ones do make a small amount of noise. This is just from a couple posts I've read in the past.
I would try all the usual fixes like the flex hose off the pump and vibration pads under it first, then maybe look to swapping it out.
To me noise from the pump is unacceptable. I have spent more than my share of money to move on from pumps when I hear them.
Sicce is a extremely dependable brand, but sometimes you have to move on.
