The OP was just trying to protect the community, I respect that. He saw it and said something without trying to "out" the site , like was discussed. I confirmed his suspicion privately and now the mods are dealing with it at this point I'm sure. That being said , be thankful somebody cared enough to warn you . Its been happening a REALLY long time, I cant believe NOBODY but the OP and myself even knew ..... c'mon thats pathetic , to all the people who were wondering what antivirus to use , I would strongly suggest ESET NOD 32, as was mentioned. It is the end users responsibility to protect their electronic communication , period. Dont let your nuts drag out there folks. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure , correct.

You are expecting everyone to be a computer software genius? I'm not, I will admit that, as much as I've tried to learn I can't grasp computers. Not everyone can. If you need your brakes done, engine/tranny rebuilt, diff gears changed, muscle car frame off restored, roll cage installed, 9 second muscle car built, CAT heavy equipment fixed, semi truck repaired, house rewired, or any similar done, that's no problem for me but I don't understand computers and expecting everyone to know how to do all this is ridiculous. Can you do everything I just mentioned and do it correctly? I wish I was as good as the rest at dealing with and understanding but I'm not, so I rely on others just as most people pay mechanics to fix their cars or plumbers to fix plumbing

That would be nice, considering they are a sponsor and are active under their name. I have purchased through them during a live sale but that was about 2 years ago.

Why the “respect”? Just because they’re selling? I agree, some sellers/vendors would deserve a tiny bit of leeway. Based only on positive reviews.
Look, anyone, literally anyone can become a sponsor/vendor. Does that give them a license to rip off people? I don’t think so... forget their r2r name, who cares? A thief is a thief

Only offering respect because I don’t like to jump to conclusions and I don’t understand malware that well. At this point, I’d just like to hear from them. Did they do it purposely? Were they hacked? Is it a misunderstanding. At least need to hear from them first.

Thanks for clarifying. I’d like to hear from them for sure. I don’t buy corals online but I’d hate to see companies taking advantage of fellow hobbyists.

They didn't necessarily put it there on purpose. It's possibly in some library that's being used or put there by whoever they hired to do their website. Who knows.

Ball is in their court now. If they don’t reply, I’ll take it as a guilty plea from them. There’s no way that they haven’t read this thread.

@ScottR The problem I see here is that the vendor will be hit by lost sales for a couple of days, and then this message will be lost. The owners of r2r have been made aware, publicly, and have been quiet so far. This is only inviting scammers to a niche market that’s apparently easy to take advantage of.
