This is my first downsize aquarium. I love acropora and the involvement required really drives my interest in everything saltwater. With over 20 years in the hobby, the real challenge of this reef aquarium will hinge on the limitation of space and keeping things simple/organized while successfully growing coral. Enjoy!

What brand tank is that and what are the dimensions? I like it.

It is a custom Miracles aquarium, 42x30x19". I wish there were off the shelf options that offered 30-36" depth. This was my first custom aquarium and unfortunately there were some items that in the end I just had to live with. Here is another pic from the day it was delivered.

Here is a quick peek under the cabinet. The backbone components are Royal Exclusiv and most everything is cleanly contained within the sump. I'm using a BK180 and filter socks. The return is a RD3 pump and it feeds a media reactor that runs GFO. The goal for the sump was silence and organization.

The tank is controlled by a GHL Profilux with dosing tethered to the GHL dosers. I try to keep things as efficiently simple as possible and don't like overcomplicating with more components than necessary.

This is so similar to the setup I'm in the process of building! Mine is a tad smaller all around but similar tank dimension ratios. Have high hopes for this setup just based on how awesome it looks right now haha
