I know this thread is a little old but hoping it can still help. I just got one of these used and I can get the light to broadcast an SSID (though it is slightly different then the one on the sticker the sticker says Aqua led-BB70 and the network says AquaLed-18E1). However when I go into the app and search for it, it never finds it. Any help?

I'm in the same boat. No luck getting this light to work. Who'd you buy yours from?

So I solved it by using the iOS app which didn't have any of these problems. I think the android one just doesn't work.... so now I have to wait till someone with an apple product comes to my house in order to control my lights!

I got mine from a hobyist selling his used light.

I think i got a dud light then because i've tried Ipad and samsung s10e, and this point of sale light is not coming up in the app.

Finally got it to work. Was using the wrong app. Developer sells a light called Moon light, BUT the app that they make called Moon Light does not work with the light. The Aqua LED app does. BUT the light cannot be controlled unless I'm directly connected to this light via wifi.

Correct you have to connect via WiFi to control but after you sort out your programming there’s not much need to access light controls again.
