After some severe slacking in updating my build thread and in posting fish and corals additions and growth, decided to go with the dreaded one picture a day for a year project.
this will also force me to use the new camera a bit more hopefully as it has been collecting dust last few months.
I am stuck in multiple issues and projects and facing an elbow injury so great camera shots will have to wait for few weeks but will try my best with phone shots to start with.
To start with couple quick FTS

Tank is a 400G custom made, linked to an 800 G total system volume with 3 frag tanks and a Cube tank in the basement. I will be adding couple more tanks in coming months I hope and target is to reach 1000 G total system volume.
Here goes day 1,only 364 days to go :)

Stunning tank! I’m cheering for you on this ambitious picture-a-day effort!

I scored a true lineage frag back in 2008 on a trip to the USA and had it till around 2011 and it didn't grow more than 1-2 inch. I lost it in 2011.
then in 2013 I scored another frag which steadily grew to around 3-4 inch in 3-4 years still very slow compared to other acros. had some issues around end of 2018 and lost most of it except for a tiny 1/4 inch piece I could save and glued it on a plug. believe this time its growing faster than anytime before and I'm hoping in 1-2 years it'll be the sizable colony I always wanted.

9th of Jan picture is the Tyre updata montipora. This colony was grown from a tiny frag in around 3-4 years. It keeps adding layers which kill the layer below hence the smaller size compared to age.
