I'm proper chuffed with how the cheap lights are looking and I would say easily there on par with kessile 360w tuna blue

With the up dated leds pack it will rock for sure
Not sure if the UK types are different but the drivers look alot better and incase like you would expect a high end led light , the fans are really good to
So glad I never wasted money on radions
Now I can get my frag of
Canadian jaw dropper

Looking good! By the way, they are not "cheap", they are quality lights that are just not that expensive!

I knew you'd be happy.

I modded mine to mimic SB reef lights led diode layout.

I'm starting at 60% blues and 20%whites
Will that be ok as the old t5 unit was really bright

Really need to measure par with any light source. These will most certainly produce very high par, 600+ at water line depending on how high you mount your fixture.

I have a 300W over my 75, with another 300W to go next to it for my next tank, and I really like them, although I have nothing to compare it to. I have never heard the fans..... I find some bad reviews about fan noise "odd" although I wouldn't doubt poor QC.

I am not chuffed though, let alone proper-chuffed. I think I'd like to find something to chuff me, because it's sounds pretty awesome.

The SBReef Light PCB board can be found HERE.

Note, when I replaced the PCB in my old Mars Aqua, I did have to file away some of the metal to completely expose the lenses on the two ends. You can see what I'm talking about HERE.

Now I don't know if this would be an issue with the newer Mars Aqua fixtures. Either way, it was an easy fix.

Wow, I didn't realize such an easy upgrade existed! I'm going to have to seriously consider doing that. Thanks for the link!
