Hey all,

I posted this over on Reefcentral (in the Tunze forum) and thought I would post it here (in the GHL forum) as well.

After some advice for connecting 6105's to a Profilux. In particular the max and min voltages.

3 of my pumps have the older style little black box for the controller to connect to - should they bet set to 0v min and 8v max?

My 4th pump has the newer little blue box for the controller to connect to - should this one be 0v in and 6.5v max?

And then the pumps configured for 30%min and 100% max?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks @Vinny@GHLUSA

For complete correctness thats not the case. Roger from Tunze USA replied here - http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=25684335#post25684335

The older controller (little black box with the yellow circles around it below) is driven by 0v-8v (with a min of 30% and max of 100%)

The newer controller (little blue box with the blue circle around it below) is driven by 0-6.5v (with a min of 20% and max of 100%)

Well in that case, I stand corrected. Things have changed since I last remembered it. :)

Tunze would know their products best.

@Vinny@GHLUSA I know the guys are very busy with new features in updates, but as a suggestion maybe some "pre configured" defaults from a Drop down list would make the User Experience a little easier? You select Stream (when assigning a pump to a L port) and it gives you a list of "Well known" DC pumps and they defaults settings. A little more "click and play/user friendly" maybe??

As always brilliant products - just nned to polish the user expereince.

Mine starts at 3.3v and are maximum at 7.5, it seems that Vinny is right.
