Picked up a nice Maxima at a swap yesterday. He has been reactive to light changes and hasn’t been closed, but I came down today and saw some “white-ish” circles on some of the flesh. Is it being bleached? Have it right under an XR15 running 50% AB+ in my frag tank. I’d say around 200 PAR. Anyone know what this is?

Thar is a Crocea, not a Maxima. The markings are unique marking of this Crocea and not bleaching.

Agree, crocea all day long. Give it plenty of light and enjoy. Besides the mantle, the inhalant siphon is the other giveaway on identifying as a crocea.
