Got this clam locally from a fellow reefer and for the first week, it seemed to do well. Mantel fully extended and still very much attached to the rock where it's always been.
Last few days, I've noticed the mantle has retracted. No gaping and still responds to fish swimming over it. I've seen snails and crabs eat algae off of the shell but haven't observed any fishes (I have a lot of wrasses) pick at it.
Water parameters have been consistent.
Alk: 8.4
Calc: 445
Nitrate: 2.5 - 5ppm
Ammonia: 0
The only change I did was that I added a 6th T5 Bulb. Previously I took one out to allow it and some other corals to acclimate. After that first week, I added the 6th bulb.
