Hi, I'm about to upgrade light and would like some input from current maxspect owners. I'm thinking about the razor 160w for a 40B tank. Before I buy just wanted to run it by. Would the 100w razor be enough width coverage? I was also looking at a single ethereal but again not sure if it's enough coverage and don't want to buy 2. While I'm at it, is there another led competitor along those lines you guys recommend looking at? Thanks.

The razor gives a coverage almost exactly like it's shape. I'd choose the one that most closely fits the shape of your tank.

Yes you'd need two ethereal.
Next In line with the slimline razor look is the reefbreeders photon and the sbreeflight ultra
