Ok, it seems like the blowout sale BRS did for these tanks has generated a bit of interest. So, I'll post my experience so far.

The backstory on this is that this was the prototype/very early production of the smart lagoons, so some things are a little wonky. Like the sump. It's not the final version, and therefore the gravity feed ATO system doesn't work for me because the ATO container doesn't sit properly on top of the tank.

Anyway, I live in MN, where BRS is, and bought this off a former employee on FB Marketplace in March of 2024.

In fact, it's this exact tank in this video.

I picked up the entire system including the Jump L-165 Blue fixtures for $1500. 😯

Nice, how do you like the filter rollers?
They're working well. And they fit without any modifications in the sump, so that's nice.

Once I learned how to change out the filter roll, it doesn't take long to do at all. For me, it's preferable maintenance over filter socks.

You have a link to them? Are they connected together?

Some photos of my setup. My cord management isn't the best, but could also be worse....

Your cord management looks better than what I did! I had cords all over a water change bucket, all around the back of my tank. Basically, it was one huge rats' nest.

It's amazing how they can turn into a rats' nest so quickly! You think you are installing things in an orderly fashion and before you know it, it's all a tangled mess.

I started out with the Jump L-165 Blue fixtures. But with the Black Friday deals this year, I upgraded to the Ethereal Infinite fixtures. Wow, what a difference!

Here you can see the final aquascape (ignoring the rod sticking up in the middle). And before and after of the light swap.

Did you have a bag of parts at the end? I’m really wondering what these are for?

Very nice! Can you tell me if the side panels of the stand come off easily for maintenance?
I would say no, I believe they are screwed to the frame. Have you watched Maxspect's assembly videos on YouTube? It will give you a good idea of how it's assembled.

Yep, I have a ton of random parts. Looks like those are for the skimmer based on color. I can't remember if it can be setup for ozone usage? Maybe something to do with that? Just a guess though. I'll take a shot of all my random pieces. Some I have no idea what they're for. 😂
