great news!

With this change, will you still replace the 160w razor with another model?

Hi

With the problem of burned lenses, have you guys had a problem with led burned after that?

Have said that the maxspect razor leds have durability between 3 to 4 years. Is the information correct?

thank you
Usually when the lens burns out it's as sign of the diode being next. Once the lens is burned it's basically game over and diode will need to be replaced.

with a large number with the same problem, would maxspect not have to do a kind of recall and the problem always occurs in the same lens?

If the diode presents a constant problem, it shows a low quality of the product used.

guys

entering into another subject on razor 160w.

i am finding serious problems with razor 160w. now it would be melting next to the power cable

do you confirm this? is this the reason maxspect has discontinued the 160w 16000k version?

They upgraded the 160w to 180w, IIRC. I don't think they discontinued the 27" Razor form-factor.

There's a set of coils that's melting that plastic, BTW. They'll send you a new facia+cable+board....maybe free if it's under warranty. Mine was not though.

The luminaire is no longer under warranty.

I find it very strange these problems are frequent and the manufacturer does not give a position on the exchange of the parts without charge. I contacted the representative in Brazil and at no time did he mention the free exchange of the pads or this melted part.

I emailed maxspect.com and had no feedback.

Don't ever expect to get compensated from CoralVu even if it's under warranty. I've now put them in the same category as Jebao. Only care about the bottom line (cash) and could care less about the production of defective products.
