By the way, this was shot using a Canon PowerShot A620 on Macro setting with slightly reduced exposure.

Obvisously not a professional photograph....

Photo taken under whites on.

Ricordea Yuma - red
Samsung S8
Photo app: Aperture F1,7, No flash, Auto whites, ISO 80, Exposure 1/60s.
In all honesty: Minimal changes in contrast, nothing else was touched. No photoshop, etc, so I am quite impressed in the end-result.

Why it is special: my very first Ricordea, and the one that made me fall in love with mushrooms.

This is the first time I've ever entered one of these. How fun. Also, I liked the Avast Marine Porthole on Facebook.

I thought this one might be nice with my Chromis photobombing with my Hurricane Zoa. I choose this because I thought it was unique because you don't normally get close coral photos that are high quality with a fish trying to photobomb it. This was also my first coral I ever fragged with my first ever saltwater fish in the photo. Also, the colours look professional like a wwc frag photo.
