You're not. I find setting up a new tank all together is exciting.
 
I agree. I got to my LFS and I see their rock selection for sale and sometimes I want to build a new tank just so I can use the cool looking rocks and scape another tank. Also I love finding what critters come in the rocks.
 
It's a huge part of our reefs and shouldn't be rushed. We've been playing with our rocks trying to get it just how we want it. Think this is the final scape of new setup that's cycling.

If you think you might be crazy, that is a sure sign you aren't. Yep, new tanks are the best. I love the smell of freshly made saltwater!
