So I’m helping to maintain a 90 gallon eel tank. No big woop right? I later found out that this eel a few months back jumped out of the tank. The owner (not some small guy) carefully picked it up not knowing how long the eel had been out. It move a little bit then struck at the guy and clamped on to his hand until he got him back in the tank. If I do this tank again, I’ll be watching!!!

Clowns…for obvious reasons.
Basically anything with big teeth is a concern. A lot of the time they will be more scared of you, but when they want to attack they are lightning fast.
I haven’t had a scorpionfish but I definitely would be cautious around them.

Can’t imagine!!!
Felt like a hot railroad spike being inserted into my hand with big John hammering it in. I was also completely blasted when it happened. I totally embarrassed myself in front of a girl trying to hand feed 2 lion fish. College in my 20s. Fun trip to the ER and having the lady friend nurse me better. Lol. It all worked out in the end I suppose.

That's how I felt after handling my birdsnest coral. Appears I'm allergic :(

Stung by a baby volitan. Not technically a bite but probably the worst saltwater wise

Freshwater - Bit by a small (about 2 inch) red belly pirahna that was fed live food and I was showing off for some girls at the LFS that I worked at and stuck my fingers in the tank.

i cant think

Well, my 4’ tank has to be my Magnificent Foxface. He turns my tank into extreme hide and seek when he camouflages…

My nano has to be my Tevegae Pygmy Gobies as they’re so small and easy to lose.

I have a Scorpion and a dwarf Lion. I’m quite cautious around them but sometimes forget. I’ll probably get done one day

The only one that has had a go is my snowflake eel. Didn’t hurt. Just scared the kayrap out of me. He sniffs around my fingers now when I’m in there.

Oh and my Porky has tried and missed a few times.

Probably my one spot....he unfortunately has zero fear of me. During tank cleanings he follows me around grabbing any algae I manage to scrape off the glass. He has brushed up against my hand many times.

I had the same issue with my old magnificent. I don’t know whether my current one is better or worse.

I have African Grey parrots. A bite of my clownfish just tickles.
So grow a pair who is afraid of clownfish. :)

Get bitten by a fully grown female maroon or any from that complex. Then it won’t tickle
