I use a tlf 150 reactor on a 10 gallon.. I am running gfo and purigen in it. With the included ball valve tuning was simple. It's an aio tank so I used a 400gph pump in the return chamber, used a barb splitter and with soft tubing have the reactor underneath the tank in a small cabinet. I used u-bend hardware attached to the back of the tank for a cleaner look. So far it's working great.
That’s a super good idea, I never considered that. Do you have any pics of how it’s set up?

Yea, so its still early here but I took these. There's kind of a lot going on back there but the tank itself is clean looking heh. So there's a uv, dosing pump tubing, ato sensor, heater and return pump and the inlet/outlet for the reactor all in these small chambers. It's a 10g sps tank so I'm trying hard to keep it well controlled. So far it's been going well tho once the cuc knocked out gha issue

Any pics of it mate?
It's just an hob filter. I'm cheap when it comes to some things.

If I need to run carbon or GFO. I hang this on the side and put a bag full of my media in the chamber and turn the flow down low. When I dosed Lanthium, I did it in there into filter floss. Also I cut my dose in half. It allows for more surface contact by not packing the little media bag full.
It's certainly not as efficient as a reactor but it works and doesn't require plumbing. I can also take it off and put it away when I don't need it.

When I had my WB Peninsula 25 I bought the InTank media chamber and used chemi-pure elite. It did a great job and I still had space for floss or other media if I needed it,

Yeah I use a media basket already, have it filled up with filter floss, carbon, then some rubble and media. I just want to make my gfo use as efficient as possible

So much going on haha that’s insane. Mines super simple, media basket, no ATO, a heater and return. I might try get a better return, and run it on a dual outlet for the reactor !

Hey Yanni, what did you end up going with?
Hey Krayzie!

My nutrient issue ended up working itself out, and I just increased my WC frequency. I do have a few ideas though!! The main one just running a sicce nano pump to a TLF mini reactor, and just running it out the middle chamber

It is 3 in 1 design

Nano Chaeto Reactor,
Waterfall Algae Scrubber,
Upflow Algae Scrubber

For Waterbox I needed to configure as Upflow algae scrubber

I did not want a cheato reactor.

I don’t have the ability for water to pour into it from above

So I use an air pump and air tube to have air and water pumped in from the bottom. The bubbles rise and give oxygen inside to grow turf algae on the screen
