Nothing like Dinoflagellates to get the hyperfocus goingHopefully. I’m like a dog with a bone when I set my mind to something.![]()

Thanks Jon. I will give a shot. These are stubborn little suckers too. They multi pretty quickly and I don't think I have enough competing critters in there to help with the UV trreatment. My uv was down for 1.5 weeks and started having Dino’s pop back up. Many reports of tropic Marin nitribiotic working good on Dino’s!
I bought a bottle since petco had in stock. Dosed it and Dino’s started going away with one treatment. UV’s back up and Dino’s pretty much gone! I’m still doing weekly DIY coral snow with it added for the cyano now as well.![]()
Just a thought if you want to try it out. I’m super impressed with it. Only bacteria I’ve ever had show results.
Hey, mister, don't be talking about his UV like that! This is a family-friendly forum. That’s a massive UV. I can’t imagine it not doing the trick.!

I am and I do. I Love how she looks with her top off.I would presume you are removing the covers when running your "treatment" and do not have them off all of the time. Correct?

Fingers crossed though.

You other brothers can't deny!He likes big bulbs and he cannot lie.
My LFS has a naturally produced "frag" of a very similar green goni for $60. They claim their parent colony will essentially drop baby frags from the colony every so often. I am extremely tempted to snag it...You guys crack me up!
Here are some pics for the week. You can see the Dinos on the bed in the last few pics.

Hi OG !100% agree! Good afternoon B.

Thanks B. What size UV? My NO3 and NO4 sit around 20 and .20 so I definitely don’t have a low nutrient problem. Not sure why the Dinos showed up in force.I see you’ve been having Dino issues . I used to run my water at 250 gallons per minute in the U.V.light and added microbactor 7 . But I made sure my phosphates were around 10 and nitrates around 20 ppm . I always watched to make sure they weren’t near 0 or anywhere goose to it . While doing this I would suck up not only Dino’s but would also the sand . It’s been so long ago as I’m sure there are different bacteria now that can Handle the job . Good luck![]()

This is a 57 watt so the dose is about the same at 500 GPH on the25 watt by my understanding.25 watt
