Thursday AD update specially prepared for @That Crusso Kid.

With everything I've been doing to the tank for Dinos, I figured the AD would slow down and fortunately it hasn't.

Thats awesome, did you get that Red Monti on the right side as a small frag or was it already grown out a bit? That looks like awesome growth for under 10 months.

Thanks. I got it as a frag. Here's the tank on 10/21 with the monti placed in the same spot at the end of the video and a couple of pics I took 11/7 and 11/24.

I will put the par meter on it today. Probably around 250 par most of the day if I had to guess.

@TDehler - Yup, right around 250.

You're one brave soul -- I'm super scared of monticaps, even nice ones! They will shade anything & everything underneath once they're happy. That said -- I got a few, small pieces in my tank but they are all on 3" plugs -- worse case, I can always yank 'em off.

I love the monticaps but to your point, placement is key and even so you need to be willing to prune. The green one on top just happened to grow there from an old piece. I've already pruned it. The other two are at the bottom where I don't have too much of a concern although I may need to already trim the one DH is talking about.
