A quick Franky update. She (according to Tim) is doing well. Haven't seen any aggression towards her and starting to roam the tank a bit. Color looks much lighter and relaxed. When I fed frozen food this morning, she ate pretty aggressively so I think she will adapt well in the tank. Now to see if she starts eating aiptasia.

Fingers crossed.

Handling the flow fine? Excited to see if it starts eating up aiptasia. Is this a biota or wild caught one? Full size or junior? Can’t do nudis or peppers. Wrasse ate them all minutes of lights on. Still thinking stripey since no
LPS though need the sump cleaned up more than anything.

She's about 2' to 2.5". Picked up at local LFS. Didn't ask where it came from but pretty sure it's wild caught. Zero issues with flow and I have a lot. No issues with my other fish. Already cruising the tank and eating aggressively when I feed. Started picking on rocks today but haven't noticed it messing with any aiptasia.

I will keep you posted on how it goes with the aiptasia.

Here is my old Biocube my first day back to work after having paternity leave when my second was born (circa 2017). My wife laid down for a nap and my oldest ( then about 3.5 years old) "cleaned up" by putting everything on the living room floor in the tank. Weirdly, it didn't overflow and I didn't lose a single fish or coral! You can see my nuclear green candy cane mini colony peaking out of the stuff in the front right corner!

A regular right? A Blonde would have a yellow dorsal fin too, correct? Such an awesome fish! One day I will own one!! Your pics get me every time!!!

he was about an inch and a half . when I had to say goodbye he was almost eight inches . And it didn’t take long for him to get that big . Beautiful fish .

I have thought about buying a baby and using it as an excuse for force upgrades in the future! How long did it take him to grow that big?

My wife laid down for a nap and my oldest ( then about 3.5 years old) "cleaned up" by putting everything on the living room floor in the tank. Weirdly, it didn't overflow and I didn't lose a single fish or coral! You can see my nuclear green candy cane mini colony peaking out of the stuff in the front right corner!

Holy you know what! Thats insane! And look how neatly packed it is!! Outstanding work by him and glad no one was hurt in tank or otherwise.

Here is a picture of mine 14 months ago. It’s grown quite a bit. I guess he was about 3” and now about 5”.

Nothing interesting. A blended variety of two different locations.

Central America and Brazil. It's a medium roast Donut Shop with a strong flavor. Not fruity, not super smooth, but a good flavor. Maybe some molasses undertones.

If the caffeine stops working, i think it means your soul is tired. Then i have to wonder what to do about that. More coffee? Or something... else.

For coffee, I just make myself a large espresso each morning and sip throughout the day. My favorite bean to grind for a while now I get from Costco. Nothing special, but love the taste.

Is it me? I really enjoy the sump section of my tank. I guess it where I do a lot of tinkering.
