Meng's Mummy Eye?

Can I see some recent pics of your Meng's ME? Mine is just OK looking, and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or that's just how it looks. TIA!

I did some searches, and found pictures that look all over the map... one almost solid red (Morgan), and another almost like the Oregon ME (Steve).

it changes color.....i got mine from ian and initially it had a nice color morph to it but when i put it in low light...ithe base started looking like a oregon ME...I put it in high light and the color changes...

Well, I've got it under pretty low light, and it certainly looks nothing like my Oregon...

well i think if u know the lineage...u should be good on it...i know ian got his directly from meng. Ill try to take a pic of it but if u go to ians reefodyssey site thats what mine looks like.

my colors are somewhere around like this.

Sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear in my OP. Mine's from Ian too :) . I am not doubting what it is...my issue is what others have posted and labeled as Mengs ME in the past. Mine doesn't look like those, so I just wanted to know if I needed to tweak its loaction, that's all.

ah ic..sorry about that...well i keep mine in the middle of my tank 14-15" away from my lights....ian said he kept his in high light to keep the color as in the pic so its been like that for several months now. How far down is yours?

Mine is about 24" down, and turned slightly sideways. I run 14K 250W DE Phoenix on Icecaps about 6-8" above the water. The pink eyes are amazing, but the green skin is meh right now.... And I recall seeing pictures where the green absolutely GLOWED.

u know i believe WWC mengs mummy eye has that greenish glow ur talking about...i remember the color when they were selling frags of it....PM chris and ask them where they keep their colony

Here is mine in a group shot. Its the bottom left green one

Here is another shot. It has developed pink undertones to the green.

I have had mine for just less than a year, grown from a small frag. I keep it under t5's at about 90 par. It has been very happy under this lighting.

Lovely pic, Mark..I see the turquoise rim, like mine...here's a better angle of it. I see no rim on the WWC pic, again, just like my Oregon ME.
