Dang a 63 would be nice over my new 84x30x25 tank since I'm not lighting the ends. Too bad I already built a t slot mount for my 6 noopsyche. But six power bricks and six cords is a hassle. :thinking-face: Any info on the mounts that will be available? I have a couple photon v2 and the tank mounts and bot mount work but the bot always tips forward a bit and isn't great looking.
I had same issue, all the plugs and wire management was a pain for me to deal with over long-term use. Thats why I'm making the switch to meridians.

My rock work/coral placement is only 60" wide and in middle of tank. So, the two 63" units will work perfect cause I won't light the ends either. If I really need more light I could always get a 24" or 36" and add to the 63's to have seemless coverage.

Im not sure about mounts it will come with but it should be an easy fix to mount them over your tank. I think over your tank it will look great and you could add the edge bars for wider coverage down the road.

I emailed Logan to try and get a weight. If I can fab something up so I can use my existing mounting system that is hinged to get the lights out of the way when needed I may have to think about this.

How does the preorder pricing work? The price says $150 but the 63” option says $1699. Is it pay $150 now and the rest later?

Last I heard they won't be available until July.
Thats what I heard too, but I talked to reefbreeders and they told me pre-orders are 4-5 weeks out (estimated) and that was on the 27th of April. Hopefully they come sooner, I'm getting tired of watching same youtube video.

I’ll email them tomorrow if it’s 600 or 800, maybe larger units come with higher capacity.

On another note the edge bars look really good paired up together. Looks like a Starship!

I can’t wait for my lights to come in now after seeing this.

I’d imagine it’s a 600w meanwell brick.. don’t believe there is 800 watt ones. I use these at work a lot.

The biggest LED power supplies out there, that we are aware of- are 600watts. We are working on a bigger 800watt one as well. For now, I can assure you that the 600watt power supply is a BEAST.

For those who pre-ordered and opted for sea shipping- we are looking at early June- 10-15th most likely. I will send an email update when it's closer.

I was too, my buddy has the photons over his reef and loves them, but I didn't like the controller. I loved the spectrum and heard nothing but good things about reefbreeders. Only thing I dont like about reefi is the app, and the fact that I would need a bunch of them to cover my reef real estate. Im going from 30 plugs to hopefully no more than two or one if I can daisy chain them together and use one power source. I would probably use two to not over use one ballast.
reefi can daisy chain 4 lights off one power brick :)

I looked at that too, 10 units at 500 is 5000.00 compared to two 63” units 3400 plus since I preordered I got and additional 10% off so let’s say 3k.

I’m in that same cord management nightmare with reefi daisy chain 10 units together and then their controller to me is very out dated.

The nail in the coffin for reefi was ip67 water proof rating for meridians. Even if I never clean them (cause I won’t) they will still be bone dry inside. I had two kessil die on me probably because of humidity issues and my Ali express bars had zero issues (ip67)

Less is more in my system.
