I have a 180 with 3 250w bulbs. I started using 20k about 3 months ago. For 20 or so years have only used 10k. I have them on for 6 hrs. How many hours are you leaving yours on?
Coral is mainly zoas. acans, chalice, goni and nems.

Thanks

How close to the tank or water level? I have a 120g deep tank and my lights are 15 from the water but I feel like I’m not getting their full potential! Tha ks

How deep are you corals? If they're st the top, then you're probably fine. Mine are about 15 inches under the water so I have my MH hung 10 or 11 inches from the water surface. I have since added 2 Illumagic LEDs as well. Here is my total PAR and a Pic of the added lights. The 398 PAR was taken on the top of the rock where you see the corals on the right, the highest up. That's about 13 inches under the water or a bit more.
