Hi I'm a DIYer and I have a 27 gallon hex and I'm wanting to keep corals on a budget. What would the better option? The tank measures 18" across the top so I could put 2, 10k 36w 16" compacts with a 36w actinic or a 150w 14k MH. Can you dim a 150w MH to 120w? and can you use a double ended MH light in a small halogen light( the kind that you use for house projects that come on a stand). Thanks.
