Sometimes I like to dose MB7 occasionally as I think it might help replenish bacteria colonies, feed acros and I didn't think there would be an issue. I've noticed in a few occasions now that shortly after I started doing MB7 doses which is about 5 ml for 150 gallon volume I would see 1 acro colony develop RTN and die. It was colorful, polyp extension normal parameters nothing really changed that I could except for bacteria dosing. Just a speculation but has anybody had any experience with this?

On a side note those of you that do carbon dosing, ammonia dosing have you experienced or seen any benefits to corals especially acros... Any downsides random deaths? Was maybe thinking about doing some carbon dosing to see if I could give the corals extra boost

My folks had same issue after direct dosing of Mb7. I also dose after each WC single part. last time I dosed double part instead of single and result is a disaster! over 40 head torch colony wiped out, others receded flesh, darken flesh. Po4 bottomed out, potential bacterial bloom. Definetelly think it has something to do with MB7
