Hmmm I will try and get a better shot too. I haven’t heard of those before this but upon a quick search it looks like they come in due to higher nutrients. My tank was ultra low before this all started up weeks back. I have been working hard to raise my nitrate and phosphate.

Yeah, Its tough. I just got a microscope myself and getting (good) pictures with it is proving rather difficult.
doing it hand-held is next to impossible.... two of your pics aren't even lined up with the microscope barrel.
I'd suggest using a camera tripod or a scope mount for holding your camera in place. Using a mount is going to be a lot easier than trying to get any pics by hand.

Saying that, even with a mount, its still difficult.

I found this earlier and what I have looks like the slime in the small cell Amphidinium picture in that document. The only thing is the cells in my slide look more circular than most of the pictures on that document.

IF:
a) That pic is at 400X
AND
b) The cells are stationary
THEN you have chrysophytes.

I still have some kicking around. Nothing seems to eat them (besides my one spot foxface that eats everything). But they don't seem to harm live coral flesh. As you can see in this thread, I've tried several things but none seem to really do the trick. They are gradually improving though.

After a little more research I am starting to think it is crysophytes. Would still love some more opinions so I can start trying to treat it though.
I am still trying to decide on what actions/elements I have deployed that seem to be helping. Pretty gentle tweaks without much separation. Slightly lower PO4 and dosing phyto seem to have some merit so far.

Here are a couple more pics from this morning. Wanted to verify movement, again they look still. I am waiting on silicate test to come in today so I can verify if the silicate levels are elevated.

So I tested for silicates this morning with the Seachem test kit and I got zero on both the regular and low resolution tests. Is it possible the chrysophytes are consuming the silicates so efficiently that they aren’t registering ?

In a normal system you would get 0 on silicates test. If there are silicates diatoms for example would appear quickly. That is why silicates dosing working for Amphidinium Dinos. Diatoms replicate faster than Dinos and takes over their surface. When dinos gone you stop dosing silicates and the diatoms go in about 2 weeks as silicates is especial to their reproduction
