Had 3 of them loved all 2 jumped and one died from internal parasites I'm done with them but cool fish

That's interesting, that first pic really looks like it's blue in the front & yellow/white in the back. Oh well lol

They are jumpers, mine lasted a day. Make sure you put some kind of cover on the tank.

Depending on light and angle it can look purple, blue, pink, yellow...

I’ve got glass lids... but may need to add some netting on the openings in the back... great tips. Thanks!

Mine lives inside a set of empty Barnacles near the top & has some Wheelers gobies for Neighbors in the bottom. Fun to watch them come out for dinner.

Thanks, Katrina for tagging. Mine was the biggest personality surprise of any fish I ever owned. Absolutely love him. He changes his colors often and my kids say he is a mood fish. Mine is from Africa which are reputed to have better colors than the Maldives specimen. I have seen both and not sure I believe that. He is fun, playful and friendly.

They really are the coolest little guys. My 3 year old loves snakes and eels and calls him the midas blenny eeeeel.

one of my faves, mine is super fat; it hides in a particular rock. One time I had the rock out of water for about 5 mins or so and didn't realize he was in it. Thought he was dead. NOPE!
