Not really an ID, but it appears something is eating my Zoa. First picture was last week, second pic is today. I have clowns, a fire fish, 4 hermits, some snails, and two emerald crabs. Probably a few hitchhikers as well. Who or what is the likely culprit!?

It's kind of hard to say at this point, but definitely keep your eyes peeled for any of the predators listed in the link below. The best time to check is at night with a flashlight or as soon as the lights come on in the morning. GL.

Btw, Emerald crabs have been known to pick at zoanthids too, so definitely keep your eyes on them as well.

I second emeralds. Most likely candidate out of what you listed.
They may not know the difference. Here's mine picking off algae:

Possible they popped off and a floating around somewhere else. I've had that happen a few times but emerald crabs are more likely the culprit.

An underfed emerald is certainly a danger to polyps. Try target feeding yours algae pellets or nori. If the polyps stop disappearing, you know you have a starving emerald.
