Sounds like cyano to me. Read up on the many resources to combat this.

Blow all the surfaces loose with a turkey baster. Reduce white light intensity for a few days and assure you have adequate clean up crew. ( snails. . . turbo, astrea, nassarius, trochus, nerite and a few blue leg hermits)
ARE YOU USING RO WATER OR TAP WATER FROM THE FAUCET? ALSO IS TANK BY OR NEAR A WINDOW?

One thing to enforce with a mixed reef is you must run carbon ( I run chemiPure blue) as softies/LPS emit toxins that will affect SPS in the same tank. Carbon will reduce these toxins.

Assure you have the following in range:

Temp: 77-79
Salinity 1.025
Mag 1300
CA 450
Alk 8-9
ph 8.1-8.3

one year, chemiclean should do the trick?
I'm not a fan of jumping right to chemical solutions. When I had cyano issues, I just vacuumed them out with water changes and adjusted my flow in my tank (either repositioning pumps and/or increasing flow). This fixed the issue for me after a few rounds of water changes.
