I know it’s been a while since you posted this but can you show me a picture. Modular Marine is telling me to cut the threaded side of the bulkhead so I can raise my emergency drain. I’m afraid to do this because it will screw up the threads.

Unfortunately, my rear box is drilled differently. All the holes are drilled under where the bulkhead sticks out.

It makes no sense to me.

I know this is an old thread. But I have the newest design of the 1600+ gph Overflow on my 75 gallon and avoided the whole situation of having to cut the threads off of the 1-1/2" bulkheads by purchasing a pair of 1-1/2" SHORT slip x slip Bulkheads.
