I LOVE Mollies, and I love their coloration in reef tanks, but I have seen my BTA kill a Molly before (didn't eat it, just let it die). So, I've had a Molly before that died from disease and not the anemones, and I suspect the Molly that died from the anemone died from being really small, about 1 ½. So there's a beautiful green Molly and a sailfin in the LFS, and both are good sizes. So, should I buy it or is it better to let it go?

I've got 6 mollies in my 120g Mixed Reef Tank that has a pair of Anemone in it and I've not had any issues in over 9 months in this system.

In fact, I'm thinking about adding some additional Mollies when I find some that catch my eye :)

It's also cool that a pair of mine are breeding in this tank but, thus far, none of the young make it beyond a couple of days as they become Fish Food for the larger fish in the tank.

Yes, but your tank is 100 gallons larger than mine, mine is 20.

If an anemone gets one it's dead, it's simple, they are not meant to deal with anemones.
But if the molly only rubs on the anemone it learns that it stings and avoid it. I had a molly that put an aiptasia in the mouth, never repeated it again. BTA might not be that bad, but surely wouldn't try with snakelocks or something like that.

I saw the anemone kill the molly before my eyes, and the molly didn't even look bad...
