Monti in 6 month old tank - Advice

Hi, My 45 gallon tank just turned 6 Months old. I have kept all parameters in check - Alkalinity, calcium and Mg controlled by DOS and trident are always in the range. Keeping up with weekly 10% water changes. Nitrates (0-20ppm) and Phosphates (0-15 ppb) swing but are low. My latest problem is hair algae which is showing up in some places. All LPS are growing and dividing. Even a hurt coral due to my stupidity (accidentally crushed a torch skeleton) is recovering and rebuilding. This is giving me the confidence to try Monti. However I know SPS is super hard and my tank is not mature. So the advice I seek is, should I try Monti now or should I wait for some more time ? I know patience pays off in this hobby

montipora capricornus is pretty easy to keep. That would be a good intro monti in my opinion

Montis aren't nearly as fussy as some other SPS. If you can find something relatively cheap, so you won't be heartbroken if it dies, it's worth a shot!

How mature your tank is depends in part on what it was started with. Dry rock? Bin-grown live rock? Ocean live rock?
