I bought this Frag from petco and it was identified as a montipora spongoda Frag. So I bought it and placed it mid level in my tank. Now I’ve had it for 6 months now and the last three weeks it’s taken off but for the six months of owning this coral the green has gone away and has since turned pink with red polyps. Anyone have an idea of the name of this coral? It doesn’t grow like a normal spongoda with the cool ridges but it could also be because of my flow or placement.

Indecision may or may not be my problem.

Spongeodes will sometimes build out their base before forming ridges. FWIW it probably doesn't have a trade name if it came from Petco, they usually do not get any high-end stuff from what I've seen.
