That looks awesome, so how did it grow like that? Did you glue multiple frags around some rock? Noob question i know
One frag size of quarter glued on rock. Took it a couple months to settle and then has been growing like a weed. Shaped itself. About 6 yrs old now.

in a 29 gallon had for a long time somehow all pumps quit same time and it died. This was about 9 months ago.

Wow, that monti was big! Have you started another since the loss?

Your unknown is Porites Lobata. I have the same one. It’s mostly hexagonal coralites that are green with purple polyps. The growth normally begins as an encrusting coral of medium speed and then starts to develop dimes which grow in size.

It’s a wonderful coral and pretty much bulletproof.
