Why would you? It has been proven moonlights have no effect on the tank, corals, fish, etc beyond human preference.

I actually couldn't find any scientific evidence on that.
A lot of people believe that this light is more important for corals than the whites. Do you think it could affect fish in any way, for example sleeping?

Lol, do whatever you want its your tank. Moonlights have zero effect on anything except being able to see the aquarium at night.

And to answer your question, yes it's ok to run them 24/7.

Many of the moonlight settings on leds are far too bright, it can actually disrupt biological cycles in fish and coral.

I believe the amount of light pollution tanks recieve at night from electronic devices and/or outside-street lighting isnt ideal either.

If you really wanted a moonlight to benefit, it have to be very very week and be dim matched to a lunar cycle.
