Is there a good method to control moss growing on the side of acans? Dip a q-tip into something and dab the side of them maybe? Thanks in advance

Never seen moss before. Is this some sort of algae? Blast it with a turkey baster or a strong syringe.

I know hydrogen peroxide can be used to get rid of algae growing on rocks and some corals. I’m not sure you can dip an acan in it but I bet you could spot apply it like ur saying. I use a 50/50 3%peroxide/saltwater mix. Be sure to rinse the frag in salt water after treating to clean the peroxide off before putting it back in the tank.

I also use peroxide for quite a bit of stuff, minus sps.

It sounds like you may have turf algae. Maybe if you can put up a pic and your parameters there might be a solution once I’d confirmed. If it is turf or gha it possible it may spread.

Just a thought
