Motorized Light Lifter

Been wanting to get a motorized light lifter for 2 of my ATI 8x54W sunpower fixtures over my 8' 240G.

Found the 'Sky in the reef's Video on youtube.
Seems like he used a tubular motor.
But what exact parts, Im not sure.
Has anyone done this? Can someone list the parts that are needed.

If I recall correctly @revhtree was looking into something like this.

There are lots of potential solutions, including a pulley and counterweight system (which I remember @Paul B recommending), as well as powered actuators. Try hitting the site search (or the goog) with that last term. :)
