Mounting AI Hydras to Ecotech Rails

Has anyone tried mounting AI hydras to the Ecotech rail? I much prefer the look of the curved Ecotech mounts to the very squared off AI hydra mount (see below). In searching I can't find if anyone has done this. I already have hydras I don't wan't to replace just to change the mount out.

I don't have an answer, but have wondered the same myself! With all the 3D printed and other diy stuff around, hopefully someone has a solution :)

I never really tried to do it myself because I don't have access to an Ecotech rail. I can't imagine it would be that hard, especially since people use flat screen tv wall mounts for lights... Seems like the rail would be an easier hack.

Nope. I ended up doing an 8020 aluminum setup. Much better than than ecotech rail
