Has anyone tried mounting AI hydras to the Ecotech rail? I much prefer the look of the curved Ecotech mounts to the very squared off AI hydra mount (see below). In searching I can't find if anyone has done this. I already have hydras I don't wan't to replace just to change the mount out.

Ha! Glad I'm not the only one who has thought up this wackiness. Hopefully someone chimes in :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I never really tried to do it myself because I don't have access to an Ecotech rail. I can't imagine it would be that hard, especially since people use flat screen tv wall mounts for lights... Seems like the rail would be an easier hack.

Were you ever able to do this? I'm looking to do it right now.

Nope. I ended up doing an 8020 aluminum setup. Much better than than ecotech rail
