Got this tank for $500!!!! Turned into the white tank. It included a 40gal living reef sump. The tank is 155gal 1/2 inch thick glass. I am getting it all set up and taking my 65 gal FOWLR tank and 30 gal reef tank and combing them into this tank. I have a saddle puffer, blue damsel, six line wrasse, flame hawkfish, and two ocelaris clowns. Plus a bunch of Xenia, mushrooms, and several different softies. New to the forum and somewhat new to saltwater tanks.

I just got two of the current orbit led and already have coralife T5 so going to try them out and if no good I need to convince the better half I need ecotech radions.

Still filling it up and have 100lbs if live rock in a Rubbermaid tub. My local lfs has the best rock I've found. I've had the rock in my other two tanks. Had probably 20 bristle stars 4 pencil urchins and tons of other critters in it right from lfs. Waiting for my reef octopus external skimmer to come in. Then I'll get it all going. Not sure how long I need to let the tank cycle and how fast I can put my fish in tho.

I should be able to get maybe 30 more gallons into the new tank. It's almost full. Plan on letting it run for a week or two before I move the fish in. Will be testing it daily so they should be fine. Just lost flame angel and two black clowns to parasite about a month ago so all the water from that tank is gone. Thanks everyone for help. Reef2reef has been great source of info

Well some of live rock into tank. Added trim work to stand and canopy. Now unsure on sand situation.I have argonite from my 65 gal was only 6 mth old and maybe 2" thick. I've rinsed the crap out of it. Is it safe to use along with another new 40lbs bag?

6ft long. was not fun moving it in. 1/2 inch thick glass. Had to put 4 basement Jack's under it to sturdy floor. It's an old house
