MP40 Mobius error

Just added the RF chip to my MP40. I keep getting this error. Tried factory resetting etc. any other ideas?

I held down mode and set until it flashed red white and blue, then mode until purple and red, and then power button until it reset.

Something else I need to do?

Tried that. Tried turning on airplane mode as well. Super weird because when this chip was in my Vectra it works just fine

Ypu have it attached to mabius, so it's doubtful that the rf chip is the problem.

You're experiencing update issues.

Do you have an mxm connected to that mobius tank too?

No. I don’t have Neptune. The board in the driver is brand new as well.

Try going to SETTINGS > TROUBLESHOOTING > VERIFY SETTINGS.

See what's corrupted with that VT

Nothing will show up there though, I cannot get the MP40 to show in there.

No because it won’t let me add it until it updates. It shows up here though

That red icon on the top right indicates that the factory reset didn't take....

Tried reseting again and its still there

I'm only speculating here, I wonder if there's a conflict with that rf coming from a vectra.

I'm at a loss as well... you'll have to reach out to ecotech cs.

Completely closing the app or better yet restarting the phone/device, then factory reset the driver should've worked.

Yea.. as soon as I thought about the vectra still showing up on Mobius without the chip, I deleted it. So not 100% sure what else...

Another long shot is to put the chip back in the vectra, go through the motions to remove it from mobius. And then factory reset the vectra.

Then put the rf chip in the vortech and see if that makes a difference?

Will do. Going to pull a chip from one of my xr30s. See if it’ll update then swap it back.

Alright… took the chip out of one of my xr30’s and instantly updated. Switched them back again and everything is working good!
