Since I have the galaxy hydro LEDs on my main tank I got the galaxy hydro bulb that looks just like that.

Tank still in progress...
Crappy mount for light cause I keep moving the tank from one corner of my room to the other haha reason why there's shadowing in the center.

Decided to use miracle mud as substrate...don't judge it looks cool to me lol
My only negative thing about the light is that you have to really play with it to get their coverage you want. Also I don't like the green bulb so I covered it.

Looks good. I actually had that tank and got so annoyed with cleaning it that I removed the top glass panel and just made it a rimless lol

You know, I've heard of some ppl doing that, it really is a pain in the **** to maintain, I use the tongs and a magnafloat to get the job done. Plus I'm just having shrooms and xenias in this one.

Interesting approach. I'm assuming because of that top glass panel that some of the light is deflected and like you said you have to play with it. Mine does have two cyan leds that are diffused. Your tank is a little longer than mine and also wider but I think mine might be an inch or two deeper. I went with black aragonite sand from Carib Sea because I got it for free and I wanted to corals colors to pop without having white sand sort of come between that.

I'm just gonna have ricordea that's my dream is just to have a tank dedicated to a single species of coral. So a Florida ricordea rock is all I'm shooting for. A simple hang on the back filter for flow that I might just switch out for a little 50-100gph pump and the light. 2 gallon water changes once a week and then occasionally add some water from my 25 gallon to add some nutrients in the tank.

I have 3 separate tanks aside from my main tank that don't run anything but filter media. I use my main tanks water to do water changes for them. I get bored in the evening so I tank a cup out of the 6 to throw out and take a cup from my main to throw in.
Black sand is pretty, I have the same kind in my main. And with cleaning the sand I have a bunch leftover in a jug haha.
I put my koralia 240 in pointing up against the filters water to create randomness

Either this type of light, many kinds to choose from, maybe a coralife mini aqualite t5.
I wonder if they make mini Halides haha

For the price of a par38 the ABI one is the way to
Go. Maritza the Reef has proven it.

I would go with that bulb lol
I may order one myself to try out haha that bowl concept I've seen before and looks awesome!
