Hopefully, given time, they'll fix that. My system has always worked flawlessly but I genuinely only have a temp, and a ph for sense ports. Everything else is switching via XP8.

I don't think it is a common problem. I did a lot of searching and found very little on it.

Good to know as i was considering whether to stick to my Osmolator or go with a hydros ATO setup with the new tank. Sounds like i'll stick with the Tunze for now.

I use the Tunze but have a Hydros sensor as a backup. It has tripped several times. I found out that the red lights on my algae reactor I was running was tricking the Tunze .

Rough morning... got to work.. worked an hour. Momma calls me.

1 Hydros XP8 fried, one mp40 controller sitting in rice.. 20 or 3p gallons of water on the floor.. one fish dead. I hate this tanks overflow setup. When I DIY'd it i made a critical error and this is the second time I've had this issue due to stuff growing in the overflow, then plugging up the pipes between the tank and the overflow. I cant wait for my Innovative Marine to show up now.. luckily I bought a second XP8 to "expand" so i at least had a replacement. At least Hydros is setup well so that when I added my new XP8, it had all my settings and parameters transferred over to the new XP8 from the old one which allowed me to be back to work in just over 2 hours.

Luckily after all these years I finally got her to pay attention to abnormal sounds the amount of times I get home and say "whats that sound?" And something like the washer, dryer, dishwasher is making a terrible noise, and she didnt notice... or I get in her car and she very clearly has a very audible, unhealthy noise and she didnt even notice my current setup, I can hear my reeflo pump humming throughout the house like a low drone and it drives me nuts and she cant hear it at all

Its like that old tale about the indian and the city boy. The city boy is out in the woods with the indian, and the indian hears a rustling and points out a squirrel eating a nut up in the tree. The city boy was wowed and wondered why he didnt hear that. Then he takes the indian to the city, and walking down the street he hears someone drop a quarter and points it out to the indian. The indian wondered how he was able to pick that sound out of all the noise of the city. Or something like that but maybe with a cricket? Its been a while since i heard that...
Anyways, its all about what you train your mind to hear i guess, she is focused on other sounds like your tummy rumbling and the kids chittering and babies stirring.
Man though, my wife's car had a clunk so hard i thought one of the shocks was going to come unbolted when i got into hers this spring, fun times right lol.

Well, when it rains it pours. My Tunze Orca is down again. Got a ticket in with support though, they run on VW time, so i wont here anything for awhile and by the time they get back to me i'll be at work and unable to do anything they ask me to do Hopefully this doesnt turn into some sort of situation where I try something everyday but due to time zones takes a week to resolve. This orca is my primary flow for this tank. My thought for my new tank was to ditch the idea of anymore pumps, stick with what I have but upgrade the power supplies to 24v as apparently that significantly upgrades the orcas. That said... i dont really want to worry about losing all of my flow at a moments notice..
