I was just looking at Brads tanks 5 th Birthday thread and Got to thinking about how old my tank is now. I dug around on my computer and found some old pictures. This picture is from 10 months ago, before I had all the tank filled all the way. So it is the closest date to when I had it set up. I had been using water from my 65 gallon tank to fill it. I would do 25 gallon WC's every week and then add about 15 gallons of fresh salt water in between. So needless to say it took a while to fill the tank. But the plus side was that the water was pretty well aged and ready for whatever I wanted to put in it.

Now here is one from today

Quite a change I would say. I guess you just really don't notice how much stuff grows/changes when you look at it every day. LOL

Looks really nice, Dave. The lighting looks different, too. I guess that could be the white balance thing, too. Were you running Radium back then?

Thanks, Tomoko! She is Taller. We knew she has gotten taller but that shows how much! I was running Radiums on the ends but they weren't burned in yet so they were kinda dim. I had a 12k Hamilton in the middle and it was really yellow so it washed everything out. Thats probably why it looks so different. I have a 14k Phoenix in the middle with the Radiums on the ends now...

How are the corals from the trade doing? The ones I got from you are doing great. Already starting to grow a little.

I am glad that the frags are doing well. Those that I got from you are doing very well, too. One of the PPE polyps has opened while the other one is still thinking about it . The orange Yuma is a show stopper!

Yeah those PPE polyps are really finiky thats for sure. My main colony is starting to open back up slowly. I'll probably lose a few this time but they will come back eventually......Glad you like the yuma!

The frags are doing great! The mohawks opened up within 10 min. of being in the tank and the goni was happy and looking great this morning. I already have the palys fragged and the shrooms won't take me long. I want to try and get the ones out of my display but if I can't there are some in Lindsay's tank I can get really easily. If you come up to Huntsville before I get back down there just let me know and we will meet up somewhere or you can come by and check out the tank for yourself!!

This welso is amazing.....even in the daylight shots. I couldn't get a good blue shot of it it just washes out.
