Now I know several people using this product with excellent success. Mostly sps keepers.... I also want to add two more things here. I definitely saw a reaction from many of my corals when I added this to the tank. Sps, lps, and zoas were all fans of the stuff.

It looks like a ball of catfish bait if you've ever used that lol. It's like a ball of putty, and per the directions, I was suppose to use only 2.5 ml.

And I doubled that amount because it was jus so little.... Now that I've done more reading on this, Im realizing that was a big mistake. After I get my p04 down, I'm actually going to start trying it again.

I didnt mean this to be a knock on the product per se, the fault here is probably mine since I added too much.

Was kinda wild after a few weeks of every 3 or 4 days use, po4 and no3 started going down fast. I cant keep up with super charging it, dont have time to test every day, so i backed off and just let it hit a natural balance. Could probably get better growth, but i think ive just about reached the point of deminishing returns, effort-for-growth-wise.

That's exactly what I was expecting to happen ! Everyone talks about nutrients dropping and I experienced the opposite. Im going to blame the overfeeding and continue to try it. Im only feeding once a week though, so maybe I wasn't overfeeding too much in the long run.

You don’t need to ditch everything just run filter floss + some bio media, skip the skimmer for now, and do regular water changes. Top off evap with freshwater only. Biggest upgrade: a better light. You’re on the right track

I was going to make my own as well Zack. I just thought id see if it would benefit my tank by trying Allan's mix first. Do you add a flocculant of any kind?

I have tried it both ways, with calcium carbonate and without. I think when i did add calcium carbonate and let the bacteria mix for 3-4 hours i saw the biggest impact to nutrient levels, like cratered fast. Most of the time i use it without now.

I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been as active on my thread because I'd rather visit yalls lol. There's just not much to report right now. P04 is slowly on its way down.

Hopefully everyone that entered the growout contests are having success. I think all of mine are still alive except for the snipers blue which is now a snipers white
