My 40 gallon recife build

@smorgasbordfamily I finally started working on my build thread again if you guys get bored lol
As it is a hashtag you have to change the @ to the # symbol

Thanks for the updates, John! As always your tank is stunning!! Well done my friend! :)
Thanks so much Walker. You guys were all so encouraging in the beginning and have continued to be so supportive.

@sfin52 The starfish is going strong, brother. He's just as drunk as ever.

Tank is looking good. Looks like you got some nice personality between the tailspot blenny and the star fish. I think a tsb might be my next fish.
Thanks so much. I appreciate the kind words. You nailed it. Those two are worth their weight in personality gold. It's funny, no other fish messes with the tsb. Everyone respects the little guy for some reason lol

VR you're right! It has been a while. This doesn't even look like my tank anymore lol. From the very beginning, I wanted a mixed reef. I imagined colorful softies scattered across the sand bed, growing up the rockwork into some lps with nice movement. And I wanted it to settle on the top with some sps in the high lit areas.

I'll show you all a couple of big shots of the tank, then I'll talk about some of what I chose and why.

Zoas and mushrooms! I felt like this was a good way to add color quickly. I won almost all of these zoas in an ebay auction for about $45. This would set me on my way.
